Depression or chronic sadness can often feel debilitating. It impacts one's entire body, wiping out energy, reducing motivation, and increasing negative self-talk.
I incorporate proven evidence-based treatment modalities that are grounded in relational neuroscience and the mind-body relationship. Together we will take a closer look at the whole body and interpersonal implications of your depression. We will begin to foster a dialogue between your core self and those feelings of sadness, hopelessness, overwhelm, and worthlessness so that you can get better acquainted with its roots and its triggers. We will work to increase a sense of internal connection and a whole body understanding of the impact that depression has on you.
As you become better aware of the subtle manifestations of your depression, you will be more confident in acknowledging its presence, allowing you to utilize effective cognitive and behavioral coping techniques taught in session.
